Jim Fredrickson - Senior Pastor

Rev. Jim Fredrickson is the Senior Pastor at Hillsdale Baptist Church since September 2000. He has been ministering in the Sacramento area along side his wife, Debbie Fredrickson, since 1978. They have one daughter, Christina and one granddaughter Carli.

He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the California Baptist University in 1977 and a Masters of Religious Education Degree from the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 1983. Ministry for the Lord is his passion and he has been serving in this capasity since his senior year of High School.

Pastor Jim enjoys reading, playing golf, and movies, along with trips to Yosemite, the beach, and Disneyland with his wife and family.

Luke Gertner - Minister of Music & Youth

Luke Gertner serves as Minister of Music and Youth at Hillsdale Baptist Church since January 2006.  His serves alongside his wife Rebecca. They have three children. Karsten, Faith Anne, and Grace.

He completed his AA Degree from Shasta College in Redding, California in 1999 and received a BA Degree in Music from the University of Pacific Conservatory of Music in 2002. He is currently working on a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling from Trinity theological Seminary, which he hopes to complete in 2013.

He enjoys reading a good Christian novel or leadership book, working out with his wife, playing tennis with youth from the church, going to the park with his kids and working on projects at home. He collects superman memorabilia, loves to play piano and guitar and singing. He has a passion to see others truly worship and enjoys teaching other his love for music.
