EASTER SUNDAY April 1 2018

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday with an early service, continental breakfast, Bible study and late service with a total of 126 in attendance. We are always eager to offer our sacrifice of praise to Him, especially on this special day, because we worship a resurrected Lord & Savior ≈ Jesus Christ our Lord.

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice — the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Romans 12:1 (NLT)

THE ESCAPE ROOM March 30-31 2018

Our Revolution Youth Group had a wonderful time at this lock-in retreat with two other SRBN youth groups at El Camino Baptist Church, under the leadership of Greg Horton, Youth Director.

This dynamic beginning to Holy Week started with Stations of the Cross meditations on Easter. followed by their lock-in activities, which included; food, games, including "The Escape Room", and loads of fun and Biblical teachings.

EASTER FAMILY DINNER FUNDRAISER    MARCH 28, 2018
We had a wonderful ham dinner prepared by our Hospitality Team, with all the fix'ins; sweet yams, cheesy potatoes, green beans and sweet desserts. It was a lovely time of fellowship with one another.

The proceeds from this event are going towards raising money for our parking lot improvement.

THE SWEET TRUTH OF EASTER March 24, 2018

Our children enjoyed a special Easter gathering under the direction of our Children's Director, Stephanie Baker, with the Easter theme: THE SWEET TRUTH OF EASTER.

The children enjoyed food, crafts and games as well as a special message from Stephainie about the amazing love of God shown to us at Easter through the visual aid of M&M's.

M= represents the MESSAGE of the MESSIAH of God's Salvation through his son Jesus, who became our rescuer by his death on the cross and resurrection from the dead.

E= the M turned sideways becomes an E which represents the words EASTER gives us ETERNAL LIFE which we have through Jesus, God's son, who is the only way to God and Eternal Life.

W= the E turned sideways becomes a W which represents the words WORTHY of WORSHIP and WITNESS. Our God is worthy of our worship and praise for his great love for us and the gift of salvation through his son Jesus. Let us always be eager to share the message.

EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME.

As the children bounced their balloons they recited the words they learned: MESSAGE, MESSIAH, EASTER, ETERNAL LIFE, WORTHY of WORSHIP and WITNESS

GLOBAL OUTREACH
Help sponsor Loise Mayrena's mission trip with Global Outreach to Romania

Great news! I am fully fundraised for my Global Outreach trip to Romania!!! God is definitely at work seeing how quickly it is all coming together, and I am amazed with how much support I have been given throughout this journey so far. I want to thank those who helped made this happen with all of my love and gratitude, because this would not have been possible on my own. It is definitely an answered prayer! Praise God!!!

Please continue to pray for my team as we continue to prepare for our journey. If any of you still feel moved to help financially, I highly encourage you to do so, because while I may be covered, my team as a whole is not. Some of my teammates still need help reaching their financial goals and would appreciate any help they can get. Donations can still be made at www.jessup.edu/globaloutreach/ under the name (Louise Mayrena/Romania). until May 25th.

As you may know, Louise is a senior at William Jessup University, and she is majoring in liberal studies with the hopes of becoming an educator. She has enjoyed her time at William Jessup and has acquired so much knowledge, experience, and relationships that she knows will benefit her life. Currently she is set to graduate around January 2019.

She is participating in a mission trip to Romania through a Global Outreach Team (May 28- June 11, 2018). They will be reaching out to gypsy families and those living in neighboring villages outside one of the biggest cities in Eastern Europe. Her passion for this trip is due to her primary focus - to serve and interact with the children there, many of which are orphans. She is looking forward to this trip since God has set in her heart a love and compassion for children. Furthermore, she is thrilled to have this overeas opportunity to serve, demonstrate love and hope, and share Truth with people who do not know Jesus.

Whether through prayer or financial partnership, you are a member of the team and play a crucial role, and I am grateful for your support! ≈ Louise Mayrena

You can also partner with my team by helping us make bracelets for the children we will be encountering! My team and I are committed to make at least 300 bracelets, so we can use all the help we can get! This is a simple and more tangible way to make a global impact and share the love of Jesus.

Please contact me if you decide to partner with me in any of these ways or if you have any questions or want more information. I would love to talk more about it! ≈ Louise Mayrena
